At BambooBox, we’ve always held a belief that feels both obvious and strangely radical in the B2B world: marketing is the center of growth.
Growth isn’t a metric. It’s a mindset. And that mindset shifts the moment a company chooses to believe in its marketing.

Marketing is not downstream from revenue.

So, one evening we created a WhatsApp group.
Just to stay connected with the incredible leaders we’d met. A space to share ideas, continue the dialogue, exchange thoughts beyond the event room. Where they could learn from one another, ask for guidance, challenge each other, and share the lessons that no playbook ever writes down.
There was no plan to scale. No community strategy. Just a desire to keep support real and human.
We wanted to build a space where leaders feel seen, supported, and strengthened. Not just as marketers, but as people.
Little did we know, that small act would spark something much bigger.
That night, Mavens was born.
And Mavens became something rare. A room where marketing leaders could be honest, ambitious, and unguarded all at once.
Peer leadership emerged naturally. People recommended each other for roles, collaborated on strategies, supported transitions, opened doors. The ecosystem strengthened, one introduction at a time.
As it grew, we realized something fundamental about B2B marketing: it’s an incredibly connected world. Many of our members had crossed paths before. They had worked together, competed, built in parallel, or simply admired each other’s work. The group made those threads visible.
Soon, Mavens evolved into a trusted circle.
What began as a simple WhatsApp group has transformed into a thriving community of 350+ B2B marketing leaders, united by a shared mission:
To elevate one another and push the boundaries of marketing leadership.
But as Mavens grew, a shared regret began to surface:

And from that question, Elevens was born.
